1 postcard will have the same image in black and white on back(perhaps for you to keep?) and the other 2 postcards can be used for mailing - they are divided with an area for writing and an area for addressing. The "mailing postcards" have "Weeping Angel, Friendship Cemetery, Columbus, MS printed on the top left.

Are you thinking but she's a painter...Why does she have a photograph/postcard? Well, I take loads of photos to use as my references for the paintings.

I live in a really nice small town in Mississippi - Columbus. Our city is famous because we started Memorial Day - Southern ladies decorated Union and Confederate graves in our Friendship Cemetery. We have lots of antebellum homes (pre-Civil war) homes and many are open to the public.

This is the most photographed monument in the cemetery. The monument is named "the Weeping Angel". When the pastor of a local Baptist church died, it was such a sad day that the angels cried.
